These Dolls Scare Me

So I go to Wally World to get groceries today. Have Maddie with me. I stroll down the doll aisle. I trot past the Bratz dolls that remind me of miniature street walkers.


I come to the Cabbage Patch section. We all remember the cute, little chubby-faced Cabbage Patch dolls, right? Where did they go? I scrounge around and finally found a couple that didn't scare the hell out of me.

This new line of Cabbage Patch dolls, however, did manage to scare me just a little. And if I had bought one today and put Maddie to bed with it, I think I would have had nightmares because their hair, be it pink, purple or whatever horrifying color you can imagine, glows in the dark.




Yeah, I used to think glow-in-the-dark stuff was pretty cool. Okay. Okay. I still do think it's pretty cool. But couldn't they make red, brown, blonde, black hair glow in the dark?

They must be pretty popular because they're sold out at Walmart.com.
