Seems like it's been forever. It's actually been six days. They took my dad off the ventilator Wednesday night at about 6:00. Friday at 6:43 p.m. he stopped breathing and they pronounced him dead @ 7:01 p.m. My stepmom and I were the only ones in the room with him. It was not fun. It was not pretty. That is one thing I wish I had never seen or heard. He's in a better place now where he isn't struggling to breathe.
