What the hell is going on with the Emergency Room over in Weatherford? Weatherford Democrat - Letters to the Editor, Sept. 23, 2007

What the hell is going on with the Emergency Room over in Weatherford? Sounds like somebody made a HUGE BOO-BOO!!

It’s been fun
Dear editor,
On behalf of the Weatherford emergency physicians, I would like to thank the medical staff, nursing staff and all others at Weatherford Regional Medical Center (WRMC) who have allowed us to practice medicine in such a great environment over the many years. And most importantly, thanks to all of the patients who have entrusted us with their emergency medical care. We never took the responsibility lightly and always took pride in helping others.

But because of the CEO’s decision, all 23 emergency room physicians we will be leaving WRMC as of Sept. 30. We wish all of the employees of WRMC the best and again, thank you all.
Eric Floyd, MD,
Chief of Staff, WRMC

Thanks for the memories
Dear editor,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the citizens of Parker County for allowing me and my colleagues in the Emergency Department at Weatherford Regional Hospital (formerly Campbell Memorial Hospital) for allowing us to be a part of their lives for the last 13 years.

We have had the priviledge to come along beside many of you in your time of need. I personally have been inspired by your courage in the face of adversity; your faith in God when your world was crumbling; your caring attitude towards one another; and your kindness to each other and to us. Thank you.

Donna Ivey, MD
