America at Home 7 Days - Snapfish.com

No Place Like Your Home? Show Us.
The co-creator of the best-selling A Day in the Life and America 24/7 book series invites you to participate in America at Home, a nationwide photo project, September 17 to 23, 2007. For seven days, everyone in America is invited to join 100 of the nation's leading photojournalists to capture "the emotions of home." The goal of the project is to capture the extraordinary diversity that makes up American family life, representing a broad range of economic, geographic, racial, political, and socially diverse lifestyles.

Clicks Heard 'round the Nation
Participants will receive daily photo assignments on specific themes. You can contribute your own images via a series of daily snapshots taken at the same time by millions of people throughout the week, or just shoot general photos of what makes your home special whenever you wish.

Digital Makes It Easy
To upload your photos, HP's Snapfish is providing all participants with a free photo storage account that will enable the editors to review your images and contact you if your photos are selected for publication. Once you are registered, you will receive a daily email with each day's assignment.

Be A Part of American History
Immediately following the shoot week, a group of prestigious newspaper and magazine editors will review the millions of submissions and select the photos that best capture the spirit of home. The result? A coffee table book, a website and an exhibition.

Put Yourself on the Cover
Once the book has been edited and printed, you will be able to put your own photo in the cover.
