After taking a couple of road trips with my mother in her Tundra and using her navigation system, it got me to thinking I might want one of those. I want to buy a GPS device, but I don't want to install one in my car. In my mom's truck, her navigation system doubles as a DVD player. So why can't I find any portable GPS/DVD players? Am I not looking hard enough? Do they make such a device? If they do, could someone let me know? Please remember, I'm the biggest cheapskate I know. I don't like buying anything unless it's on sale or I can use a coupon code. Yes, I'm weird like that. Thanks for any info you can give me.

Well, I searched a little harder. They do make them, but since they may be illegal in most states, guess I won't be getting one any time soon. There's no way I could drive and watch a dvd anyway. But it sure would be nice for Maddie to watch while we're cruising down the road.
