I for one know how irritating it is to stop and dig through my bags, quiet my screaming toddler long enough to prove to the Wal-Mart employee I did in fact pay for that 50-pound bag of dog food that's not in a bag underneath my cart. I got the bright idea to just hold the receipt in my hand after the cashier handed it to me. By the time I got to the employee whose job it is to make sure I'm not a thief, my little girl had ripped the receipt in no less than three pieces, and there was so much slobber on it, I'm surprised anyone would want to touch it. Aww, living the dream, one slobbery receipt at a time.
